It is worth mentioning that in India, it is mandatory for all four-wheelers to have 6 safety airbags.Earlier, the Maruti Suzuki Celerio used to have only 2 airbags, the number of which has now been increased to 6 as per the safety standards. Due to which, its price has increased by Rs 32,500 as compared to earlier.
Suzuki Celerio Price Hikes
The company has made this update in all variants of this model. The price of the top variant, Celerio Zxi, has increased by Rs 32,500, while the Vxi variant has become costlier by Rs 21,000 as compared to earlier. At the same time, the price of the entry-spec variant Lxi has increased by Rs 27,500. Keeping in view the safety of the passengers, the company has decided to provide 6 airbags in the car instead of 2.
