After the stampede at New Delhi Railway, strict arrangements have been made for the safety of the people. 18 people died in this incident on Saturday night. The number of people on the platform, including all trains going towards Prayagraj, is being monitored. A senior official has told PTI-Bhasha that no one will be allowed to sit or stand on the foot overbridge without any valid reason. The number of people on the platform is also being checked to avoid a stampede-like situation.

In such a situation, after the recent stampede at New Delhi Railway Station, the Indian Railways made a big decision. The central government has created permanent holding zones nationwide at 60 busy railway stations. Apart from this, artificial intelligence will be used for crowd control. According to the report, after this accident, the Railway Ministry constituted a high-level committee to investigate the incident, examining CCTV footage and other documents.

200 new CCTV cameras have been installed at New Delhi Railway Station for crowd control, so people sitting on foot over bridges and stairs can be monitored. Railways also clarified that 90% of the devotees going to Maha Kumbh come from four states located within a radius of 300 km, so there will be special surveillance at major stations of these states as well.

The official said security personnel have been deployed to monitor every train coach from platform number 16 to platform number 13. Apart from this, response teams will also be ready for any emergency.

Let us tell you that there was a sudden stampede on platform number 16 at New Delhi Railway Station at around 10 am, in which 18 people died. There was a stampede on the platform due to the huge crowd of passengers going to Maha Kumbh. Due to the heavy crowd, the way was jammed between those going up and down. Many people fell amid the chaos and died. It is being told that the delay in the train timing and the sale of more than 1,500 general tickets every hour worsened the situation.
